The purpose of the Caire's Landing Foundation is to restore, preserve, and maintain the historic Caire Stores in Edgard, St John the Baptist Parish, Louisiana. Our mission is to coordinate a sustainable fundraising effort, to support the restoration and continued preservation and maintenance of the Caire Stores.
The mission of the Caire Stores is to protect and celebrate the rich history of Edgard and our family legacy for future generations. We are dedicated to providing an engaging museum experience that creates appreciation for our past for local residents and tourists, as well as offering memorable space for events.
Meet Our Board of Directors
Sharon Spell
President
As a Caire family descendant, Sharon (along with her husband Derrick) feels blessed to own this family property. She is eager to lead the Caire's Landing Foundation with the opportunity to restore and preserve the property for generations.
Randy Caire
Vice President
Randy and his wife Debby spend time between their home in Luling and the family home they now own in Edgard. Randy is excited to share his input and knowledge in helping to preserve the family history and property, alongside cousin Sharon.
Kay B. Dupuy
Secretary / Treasurer
Kay has a strong background in accounting and business administration, and her knowledge in this area will be helpful as the Caire’s Landing Foundation grows. Kay and Sharon have been close friends for many years. Kay is glad to be a part of this special project.
