The Museum shares the story of the importance of family-owned multipurpose stores to rural communities, prior to larger cities' department stores, chain retailers and the internet. Learn historical information regarding the Caire family's importance to and influence in the community. Our intent is to honor the Caire family, and specifically, grant Warren Caire's wish to see the stores continue to provide education to the community and travelers to South Louisiana.

The Meeting Room is located in the historic Caire's Store for use by community groups, families, court overflow, and other small groups to meet and hold events. This space provides a historic yet modern, comfortable yet classy experience. A large screen and audio/visual equipment are available for presentations. Adjacent to the Caire Stores Museum. 

The Event Center provides a venue for larger events such as parties, weddings, corporate retreats, family reunions, and other private or community events. With historic interior embellishments and a traditional south Louisiana outdoor setting, including two spectacular old Oak trees, we can accommodate the appropriate vision for your event.
